MARIMEKKO Oiva Unikko Juhla Mug White/Navy/Gold 2.5DL Set of 2, 8.5oz

Marimekko's famous poppy pattern Unikko was born in 1964, a time when the design house's collections primarily featured abstract prints. Designer Maija Isola, fascinated by the organic theme of flowers, decided to create an entire range of floral prints. Today, the iconic Unikko flower represents creativity.

This set includes two Oiva mugs crafted from white stoneware, each featuring a different colored Juhla Unikko pattern with golden metal pigment details. Due to the metal details, it is recommended to wash these products by hand. The set is packaged in the Marimekko Logo pattern box.

Measuring 8x9.5 inches, the mugs stand 4 inches tall, with a capacity of 8.8 ounces and a diameter of 3 inches. The Marimekko Juhla Unikko mug set, designed by Sami Ruotsalainen, includes two ceramic mugs with golden accents. The instantly recognizable Unikko pattern emerged in 1964 after Armi Ratia, the founder of Marimekko, had publicly announced that no floral fabrics would be produced by the design house. Unikko is one of Marimekko's most well-known patterns, adorning a variety of products, from fabrics and bed linen to Sami Ruotsalainen's clean-lined Oiva tableware collection.

It is important to note that a small amount of metal is present in the sticker on the bottom of the product, and it should be removed before use.
